“Working with Gavin at mapuccino was a pleasure. Gavin’s skills in cartography and desktop publishing in InDesign made our project run smoothly, on time and within budget."
Gavin was a great help for the Tamworth Visitor Information Centre (VIC) in designing a specialised map that now forms one of the main features of the VIC – the regional map table. The map table is a purpose built 3m x 2m glass covered regional map of both NSW and the broader Tamworth region. Visitors love to crowd around it for planning their next steps or to just reflect on where they have been. In amongst a large project of relocating our VIC to a new and improved location, Gavin was great to deal with. He was responsive, accommodating and very thorough. Even following up post project to see how it was going. I would not hesitate to recommend Gavin’s work to any other organisation.
"Gavin at mapuccino has been a pleasure to work with - he went that extra mile to create beautiful maps for our winery and I would highly recommend him. We found him to be extremely helpful and professional."
"Me, I look at a map and think, "Yep, that's a map." Gavin, on the other hand, is fascinated by them and sees a galaxy of opportunities to take the traveller on a journey from one point to the next. "This could be here, that could be there; have you thought about this; who are you making the map for." In short, Gavin's passionate about cartography and devoted to detail. He's also a likeable lad and thoroughly professional in what he does. If you're looking for a master of maps or you're producing a publication to place them in, I'm confident you simply won't find a better person to work with. And I guess I can say that given he's been involved with my publishing company for more than a decade."
“Gavin at mapuccino has been a delight to work with from start to finish. In addition to his knowledge and professionalism, he has a clear passion for his work, which is clear to see in the amazing wall map he produced for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others or using him for future projects!”
